OFFICIATING PAY
An Officer officiating in a higher scale for a continuous period of not less than 4 days is eligible for pay equal to 15% of the Basic Pay of the person officiating.

LEAVE TRAVEL CONCESSION (LTC)
- During each block of 4 years, alternatively, an Officer may travel in one block of 2 years to his place of domicile and in another block of 2 years to any place in India by the shortest route.
- An Officer, by exercising an option anytime during a 4-year block or a 2-year block, may surrender and encash LTC (other than travel to place of domicile) upon which the Officer shall be entitled to receive an amount equivalent to the eligible fare for the class of travel of which he/she is entitled up to a distance of 5500 kms (one way) for Officers in JMG I and MMG II & III and 6500 kms (one way) for Officers in SMG IV & above.
- The facility of PL encashment while availing LTC is also available while encashing the facility of LTC.
- Mode and class by which an Officer may avail LTC shall be the same as the Officer is normally entitled to travel on transfer and other terms and conditions subject to which LTC may be availed of by an Officer, shall be decided by the Board from time-to-time. Provided that w.e.f. 01.05.2010, an Officer in JMG I while availing LTC will be entitled to travel by air in the lowest fare economy class in which case the reimbursement will be the actual fare or the fare applicable to AC 1st Class by train for the distance travelled, whichever is less. The same rules shall apply when an Officer in MMG II and MMG III while availing LTC where the distance is less than 500 kms.
- Details of Class of Travel and permissible distance to be considered for encashment of LTC/LFC for various categories of employees are given hereunder:-
